Actual Location: St Petersburg, FL
- Stock #[removed phone] - This vessel was SOLD on January 4.If you are looking for an economical liveaboard within walking distance of beautiful downtown St. Petersburg or a comfortable island cruiser then this boat may be the one for you.The current owners have lived aboard for 16 years and are moving ashore. The St. Petersburg slip is transferable. The owner has always kept the boat in "ready to go cruising" condition and she has a 75HP Perkins Diesel with only about 140 hours on it since rebuild and sails in good condition with the main (bought new and hardly used) having a lazy jack main cover, a roller furling genoa and a spare headsail that's never been used. She is a fully enclosed center cockpit with a fin keel and skeg hung rudder. The original version of this boat had large saloon windows which later were thought to pose a safety risk in side on waves and they were replaced on this model with 2 smaller windows per side. The foredeck is wide and open and is a great space for working or lounging. There are 2 cowl vents as well as opening hatches for fore and aft ventilation. The center cockpit has 2 lounge type seats port and starboard and lots of room aft of the wheel for storage. The sheet winches are self-tailing.There is also a very sturdy arch with solar panels and davits for the dinghy. The boat is very roomy for both liveaboard and leisurely, comfortable cruising. She has a forward cabin with V-berth, head with shower and hanging locker. Coming back, the full galley to port has a 3 burner stove, microwave, toaster oven, and a large 12 volt refrigerator with freezer. Opposite the galley is a 4 person dining table that converts into a bed. The salon is up and is very airy with 2 large opening windows looking forward and 4 opening side windows. It has central air and heat. It is currently very simply laid out and just awaits your own personal touch. The Seller added a free standing air conditioner/heater/humidifier.There is also a small electric refrigerator under the nav station. The aft cabin has a step-up queen size bed, a large hanging closet and a private head with shower that just needs installation since it is currently used for storage. There is a lot of storage all through the boat. The engine, batteries and tanks are all very accessible under the main cabin floor. She has three anchors, one with 200 feet of rope and the other with full chain. It also comes with a [removed phone].5 foot dinghy with an 8 horsepower Johnson motor and davits to hold the dinghy. It is equipped with a Standard Horizon GPS Chart 155 C plotter, depth meter, temperature gauge, etc. She has a 6 foot stern ladder and a boarding ladder. For complete protection from the elements, the boat comes with shade covers that cover the whole boat from the cockpit to the stern. The boat has 4 golf cart batteries for house power and one heavy duty sealed battery for the motor. She has a 40 gallon holding tank, 220 gallon fuel tank and holds 250 gallons of water. This is a lot of boat for the money and she would appear to have good bones. All it needs now is a little TLC and decorating to make her yours. At POP Yachts, we will always provide you with a TRUE representation of every vessel we market. Additional Equipment:
The current owners have lived aboard for 16 years but the owner has always kept the boat in "ready to go cruising" condition.
Overall, the boat would appear to have "good bones" and all the basics seem to be in good condition.
Since she's been a liveaboard for so long (16 years) she needs the departing owner to remove all personal effects inside and the new owner to do some housecleaning above and below and then some redecorating.
Some new curtains, cushions, saloon furnishing and perhaps carpet would make it a great new home. There were no observed signs of water leakage in the interior of the boat.
The bottom was recently cleaned.
The engine was rebuilt about 5 years ago and only has about 140 hours on it. It started right up and ran smoothly during the photography session and the last part of the video shows it running.
The engine room is clean with no observed leaks or odors and the bilge was dry.
The mainsail lazy jack cover and all the bimini and boat covers appear to be in very good condition.
The standing rigging appears to be in good shape.
The owner says there are a couple of soft spots on the deck that need to be fixed.
Overall, she appears to be in pretty good condition for her age and her berth within walking distance of downtown St. Petersburg makes this a very desirable boat for a number of reasons...
